Plaistow Hill believes that Physical Education plays an essential role in children's development. We aim to have a fun and challenging PE curriculum that engages all children. We will provide lessons focused on the fundamentals of movement (Agility, Balance and Coordination) allowing children to practise and master these key skills. What is school sport funding?

The government has provided funding of £150 million per year for the last few academic years to provide new and substantial primary school sport funding. The funding is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and will see money going directly to primary school headteachers to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children.
